Having Fun With Your Home Online Business

August 5th, 2008 by Dominic Turner
Respond

When I set up the site LifeChangingPlan.com I had a rough idea about what I wanted to do. I was looking for a site where I could test out and validate online business ideas that worked for me and provide that information back to other people who were looking to get started or improve on what they were already doing.

However, I didn’t want to be one of the “guru’s” who simply sold a product without having a proper idea about what it was about. So the only way of me recommending a product was by me using and testing it properly first.

That, my friends, is the problem and the reason for my absense from this blog! In order to test, validate and thoroughly try out a product you have to invest a lot of time, and money sometimes, into it. I’ve been, pardon the french, busting my balls on various projects with mixed success. On a plus side I got a nice check from Clickbank today which helped focus the mind and reminded me why I started all this!

So, the blog is back! I’m back and I’ve a lot to tell you since I’ve been away. I’m equally looking forward to hearing from you and thanks to my regulars who have kept in touch - keep doing so, I love hearing your progress.

Remember we are all only here once and we have to make the most of our time; so enjoy it, share your experiences and lets all have fun.

I’ll be updating you on my projects over the next few days, see you then.

MoneyList Profits Review: Is it a Scam?

May 26th, 2008 by Dominic Turner
Respond

Regular readers of my blog will remember my ideas about finding money making opportunities that people could get started with for free. I focused on a couple of Paid to Read programs, which I tried out at the time. They both worked well but being in only 2 programs is going to be a slow burn approach to getting money.

The key to PTR programs is finding the right ones that you can trust and, most importantly, building your downline. The more people you can get under you the faster your balances will grow.

However, thats the tricky part. If you join 10 or even 20 programs, how are you ever going to find the time to promote all 20 of them? You probably will give up before you build your downline.

So I went looking for the answer and found a site called MoneyList Profits. The owner seems to know pretty much everything there is to know about Paid to Read programs so I read his sales page and contacted him to find out more and here is my MoneyList Profits Review: Is it a Scam?

Tushar Sheth, the owner of the site, explained that he realised the issues people were having with PTR hence he developed a site to resolve them. Effectively he looks for the best Paid to Read programs and, more importantly, constantly monitors them to ensure that they are paying out. If they don’t, he drops them from his site and advises his members to do the same.

The best part of MoneyList Profits is the downline building. You only have to refer people to MoneyList Profits as once they join up they are automatically invited to join all the PTR programs under you. So you refer one person, they become a member of all your PTR programs, earning you money in each of them.

I’ve been using it for about a month and I am pleased to say that it is clearly not a scam, infact I’m very impressed with it. Tushar is doing a great job and he only charges a small upfront cost to join and thats it. No monthly subscriptions or recurring billing.

I’m happy to recommend it, I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

A quick update about Eric Rockefeller’s “The Affiliate Conspiracy” and AdWords

May 22nd, 2008 by Dominic Turner
Respond

As you know we are always on the lookout for products that can seriously help you increase your income and one has arrived this week that has really caught my eye.

“Make every day the day you decide to learn something new.” I’ve quickly learned that is one thing that Eric Rockefeller and I have in common. With the ever-changing, or should I say life changing, world of affiliate marketing, campaigns, and AdWords, learning something new is never the problem; it is learning something that is actually useful that proves problematic.

Eric Rockefeller has just launched “The Affiliate Conspiracy” and I’m now working through it to confirm if its really all that it is cracked up to be or not. From what I’ve seen, though, all signs point to a solid yes.

Even before the release of “The Affiliate Conspiracy,” we knew that this series is different than anything else we have seen in the world of affiliate marketing. Eric Rockefeller shows step-by-step images of his personal campaigns so that you can earn the same results. Keep it simple and keep it real; it does not get any better than that.

These campaigns will display three different niche markets so everyone gets a little of something that they can use and enjoy. Although, using all three examples at the same time is not a bad idea either.

AdWords are Google’s way of placing keyword sensitive ads that you create to pull people to your website. Those consumers are then more likely to find out more about your or purchase something from your site.  In theory, AdWords can only help your business. Too bad it’s just a theory.

As we all know, AdWords only work if you know the proper techniques to get Google to pick your add for display. Never fear, with Eric’s AdWords copywriting techniques, you get essential information that will help you get real results. Your ads will easily appear all over Google with any search close to your keywords.

The only thing more exciting than the release of “The Affiliate Conspiracy” is getting the opportunity to put it all into action. From what we were promised, this is not about getting what you want; it is about getting what you deserve.

Check back soon to find out what I really think of “The Affiliate Conspiracy” and all of the glory that it promises internet marketers like you and me. We will quickly see if these tools he uses for his affiliate marketing only work for him or if they can be applied to anyone who wanted to give it a chance.

If you want to read more about it the click here now or buy a copy today.

Life Changing Plan presents The Full Circle (coming soon)

May 9th, 2008 by Dominic Turner
Respond

Just a quick update to say that whilst I’ve been quiet on the blog for the last week or so, I’ve been working hard on a major update for the main site.

The concept is to be called “The Full Circle” and its going to be an extensive resource for anyone interested in making money online, from the newbie who is just getting started to the most experienced network marketer.

The idea behind The Full Circle is you can choose where you start, depending on where you are with your internet ventures. The process is all about repeatability, hence the circle, when you get to the end you can start again with a new site or simply review your the steps you took to make sure that your project remains successful.

Some people might choose to dip into one of the areas and stay there. Hey, if you are making money and its working for you, you might not choose to take the more advanced steps.

Anyway, I’ll be back soon to tell you more about the launch date but for now, keep working hard!

Earning Money From Home Update Hits4Pay and Deals N Cash

April 30th, 2008 by Dominic Turner
Respond

In my last post I talked about the difference between owning an online home business and simply earning money online. The point being that you can think you want a business but in reality you just want to earn some money and do not want the hassle of having to run a business.

Some people agreed, others didn’t see the difference and some thought that you should keep them both seperate. My view is whatever works for you is the best plan. Is there a saying that fits here? What’s good for the goose is good for the gander? Or did I just make that up? hehe

So, my update on progress with Hits4Pay, I’m sure you are all dying to know. So far, I’ve earnt my $10 sign up bonus and I’ve seen about 30 ads worth 2 cents each. I’ve had a few sign ups bringing in 1 cent a click, my total at the moment is about $11 so nothing to right home about!

I’m pulling in a lot more with my PPC ads, thats for sure, but the purpose of this is to uncover sites that people can join up, hopefully for free, and start to actually earn money without having to upgrade. So far, Hits4Pay is doing just that.

To truly see if this is working I could do with some more sign ups, so please give it a go, you might make some money and you’ll also help others in their search.

So, if you want to join in the fun, click this link or the banner and sign up.

I’ve also got another one to sign up to, in our quest to find honest sites that will deliver on their promises. This one is Deals N Cash, or dealsncash.com, you have to be living in the USA, Canada, United Kindgom or Australia to sign up to this one, but if you are, it pays you $5 to sign up and 5 cents a share.

If you are in one of those areas then click here to sign up or click the banner below:

Remember its all about seeing what works, if you can help with the trial then you are helping everyone!

Let me know how you get on!

Owning an Online Home Business or Simply Earning Money Online?

April 24th, 2008 by Dominic Turner
Respond

What do I mean by “Owning a Home Business or Simply Earning Money Online?”, surely they are the same thing? Well they can be, but equally they can also be two very seperate things. Let me explain what I’m getting at.

I’ll start with the Online Home Business. This is where most people start out, they think, “Oh if only I had my own online home business I could sit here earning money all day!”. What they do not realise at the time is owning a business, be it online or offline, takes a huge amount of effort. Even the most brilliant idea for a business will not get anywhere without customers and the only way to get customers is by advertising your product to the them.

People often start out thinking “okay, I’ve got my website, now I’ll wait for the money to come rolling in”. It doesn’t because no-one knows about the website. So you have to advertise, you have to drive traffic to your site and you need to optimize your site for the search engines. You’ll need to write articles to get your information out there and build back links. Hey, you might even have to write a blog! ;-)

Now, at this point a lot of people who came looking for an online home business give up. They think this is way too much hassle; it’s costing me more money than I’m earning and I’m not getting anywhere. I think that’s a shame and that’s partly the reason why I run my site, and this blog, to try to help people get past the pain barriers to truly being successful.

However, a lot of people who thought that they wanted a business really just wanted to earn some extra money. They don’t really want the hassle of running their own site, they just want to be able to use their free time to get some additional cash flowing in. They just want a job that they can choose the hours and days they work. Do you know what? There is nothing wrong with that at all. I think its great that people are motivated enough to go look for something extra. I love it!

So, I’m going to respond to that. I’m going to help them to simply earn some money online. My thoughts behind it are the following:

  • It will be a bit of fun trying
  • We might find something that works for all of us
  • It might motivate people to try something else, once the money is coming in

How am I going to do this then? Well I’m going to focus on ideas that are free to join, safe and trustworthy. I’m going to join them first and update the blog as to how I’m getting on. If you join up as a result of seeing something on here, then I’d appreciate you keeping in touch and letting me know your success. I’ll post your progress for others to learn from as well.

With that in mind I’m in the process of creating a new section on the main site which will deal with Simply Earning Money Online but to kick things off, here is my first find:

Hits4Pay is a way to earn some extra cash by viewing email ads from our advertisers. That is it, simple. Opening a few emails and getting paid. I told you I was going to make it easy. It gets better though. If you sign up through this link you’ll get $10 just for joining.

You get paid for each advert you look at and once you get to $25 they pay you via Paypal. Perfect! Plus once you are a member you can refer it to your friends and if they join up, they will get paid for each ad, plus you’ll get paid for them looking. So you earn twice!

http://hits4pay.com/members/index.cgi?lcplan
So go ahead and sign up. This is just the first of many ways to earn money online that I’m going to find for you. If you join them with me, we’ll all make money together without any of the stress associated with other businesses!

The 4 Minute Money Quick Review

April 21st, 2008 by Dominic Turner
Respond

I’ll start off by warning you that I have not cracked the key to making money the easy way and I’ve certainly not mastered the 4 Minute Money method yet. I choose it as a title to get us all thinking. Is it really possible to do? If so, what are the steps we should all take to be successful.

Well first up I’d say if there really was an easy way to make money online, like most internet guru’s would like you to believe, then surely they wouldn’t be telling you about it. They would just make more money for themselves, their friends and family, they certainly wouldn’t want to spoil all their fun by sharing the idea with millions of people on the internet.

So why do they always word their sales pages to make it seem like there is a quick and easy way to do it? They want to sell you a vision, because everyone dreams of being able to work from home, or better on a beach somewhere with their laptop connected to the wifi and there inbox beeping with the sounds of more cash rolling in. The thing is, these guru’s need you to buy into that vision because that is how they make money.

This industry is all about selling information to each other, coming up with the latest product of how to make money, and creating such a buzz about it that you make enough money at the launch to make a quick profit before you quietly stop promoting the product and move onto the next big thing, e.g. the next big launch. However I’d say 95% of the time the info is simply re-hashed, re-worded and made to look better then sold onto the next bunch of wannby guru’s.

As someone who is trying to make a living online, it can be easy to get tempted to jump on every new product you see, but do what I do. Stop and really think about it. Look past the sales copy and try to work out what they could be selling you before you part with you money.

I’m not saying that you shouldn’t ever get your wallet out. I recently purchased this amazing product that has really opened my eyes to a load of new stuff I didn’t know about. However, whilst it worked and applied to me, it doesn’t mean that everyone will benefit. Remember, read the sales copy and seriously consider if it is a product you could benefit from, and most importantly, put to use.

After all, there is no point buying lots of information and then never doing anything with it right? If you would like to know what the product I’m using it’s Brian Koz’s 4 Minute Money. Brian focuses on a whole host of ways to set up and earn money online, with a view that you can do them in 4 minutes!

I’ll be honest with you, its taking me more than 4 minutes to do most of them but there is some great info to learn and I’m sure others are cracking through it quickly. I will say that there is some great info that I haven’t come across before so for once I believe this product is in the top 5% of products that you really can learn something new from.

So I’m off to try some more stuff out myself, I’ll let you know how I get on! If you are interested in trying the 4 Minute Money yourself then jump across now to http://www.weblinkurl.com/money and do not leave it too long as they are limiting the amount of memberships so that the information does not become overused.

Can you make money in 4 minutes? Well I placed 2 small value PPC ads after getting inspiration from one of the ideas in the 4 Minute Money maker, which probably took me a few minutes to post and that returned me 2 sales of $35.00 within 48 hours. Okay, so I’m not sitting on the beach yet, but with if I can keep pushing forward with this then who knows, one day I might just be. There is that vision again!

Good Luck!

Running an Internet Home Business whilst travelling

April 11th, 2008 by Dominic Turner
Respond

The idea of a internet home business leads some people to think they will have to spend all their free time at home working on it. Another concern is they will have to actually be at home to run it.

The reality is the opposite. With the advances in wireless networking providing more and more Wifi hotspots, many of them free, it is quite feasible that you could be sitting in your local Starbucks using a free Wifi connection whilst you work on your laptop or notebook pc.

Having your own internet business demands some commitment but it does not require you be tucked away in a small study tapping into your keyboard. Likewise you do not even need to carry a laptop with. I use a Nokia N810 Internet Tablet to keep me connected to the internet anywhere I travel.

For me, finding a business I could operate on the move was more important than finding one I could run from home. I needed something I could do from anywhere as long as I had an internet connection. Therefore anything that required a physical product was out. I have focused on online opportunities where the product is electronic and can be shipped via the internet by the power of email or hosted on a website for the purchaser to download.

The advantage is my stock is on the internet, as are my customers and my business contacts. Its a global marketplace thats always online and never sleeps even if I have to sometimes. Believe me there is no better feeling to waking up and checking your emails to see you have made sales whilst you were sleeping! That makes it all worthwhile!

Its challenging but extremely rewarding. Let me know your thoughts on running a business whilst on the move.

If you are interested in looking for electronic products to purchase or sell online click here. Also don’t forget you can launch your own internet business in 24 hours here.
